Immigrants bring vibrant colours, flavours, and textures to France, contributing to the patchwork of the country's national identity. However, as the French economy sputters and elections loom, they also bring heated debate. This blog will introduce you to an abandoned Bangladeshi minor, a Burmese asylum-seeker and a Pakistani newspaper vendor behind the political rhetoric, and examine what it means to feel "at home" in France.

Home Away From Home? is a collective project by journalism students at Sciences Po’s School of Journalism, under supervision of Moïna Fauchier Delavigne and Nandita Vij Tandan.
